Revenge of the Sith Heroes & Villains
After the recent 20 years reshowing of Episode III at my local cinema, busting out and building the LEGO Revenge of the Sith BrickHeadz Heroes & Villains was a must - and it didn't disappoint!
Set number: 40796
Cost from LEGO: $79.99
Piece count: 656
Rating: 4/5
Every figure showcased a slightly unique feature that made this quite an enjoyable build. The cleverly designed arms on General Grievous, the well captured wavy locks on Anakin, the bulbous brows for Emperor Palpatine, and the hidden baby bump for Padme.
The major thing that this set was missing, was Obi-Wan! When recreating some of the famous Hero and Villains scenes, I quickly realised the very large hole where Obi-Wan should have been fighting off General Grievous. Although you can supplement with the LEGO Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi BrickHeadz set, the receding hairline does throw off the scene for any true Star-Wars fan.
My only other comment is that I would have loved to see Mace Windu with a perfectly bald head! The side used smooth plates, why not the top too?
All in all, this was a great set with each character being thoughtfully captured in BrickHead form.
